Health Care Freedom Tea Party Is a Huge Success
Rochester Tea Party Patriots meet at the local home office of Rep. Walz and Senator Klobuchar to make it absolutely clear we oppose government run health care. Over 130 people attended the event.  During the rally, several groups of people went in and spoke to representatives of Rep. Walz and Senator Klobuchar, expressing the many concerns we have about Government run health care.  At the end of the rally one of our representatives took in all of the letters our members had written to them along with the petition against the heath care bill that everyone outside had signed.  We also gave them each a list of questions we had concerning the Health Care bill.  When we receive their answers we will post them here so you can all see there responses.
Thanks to everyone who came out in the middle of a rather cool work day to make this event so successful!

Patriots Gathered to Learn more about H.R. 3200 Health Care Bill Aug 22

On a beautiful sunny Saturday, Tea Party Patriots gathered at the Eagles Club in Rochester to learn more about Government run Health Care.  There were many tables set up that people could visit.  Coloring stations kept the kids involved while adults could make their own signs at the sign making table.  The full House Health Care bill was available for all to see and page through.  There were informative handouts and free Constitution booklets.  Representatives from the Fair Tax, Minnesota Majority and Deficit Watchers had tables with information for those who were interested. We even had a table with representatives from Red Wing who want to start a Tea Party group in there area.

The program was exceptional with 4 very talented speakers: Othelmo de Silva,  Academic Advisor from RCTC,  Fran Bradley, Former Chair of the Health and Human Services Committee for the State of MN,  Terry Throndson, Small Business owner and US Veteran and Colleen Gau, RN with duel Citizenship, US and Canada.  Familiar with Canadian and British Health Care.

Greetings, Fellow Mobsters.  I'm proud to be part of this mob of common sense, concerned, SMART citizens.  You have refused to be fooled by slick "too good to be true" sales pitches.

Knowing you are well informed, I want to prove it by conducting a short TRUE or FALSE test.

1.   Obama and his liveral leaders wanted quick passage of the Health Care Reform legistation because they knew you all supported his plan.  True or False.  FALSE.  First, who knew what Obama's real plan for reform was.  Second - they were afraid you would find out the details and have TEA parties!
2.  Obama claimed that there would be net savings from his health Care Reforms.  True or False.  FALSE.  CBO Director said it would cost more than $1 trillion and add $216 billion to the deficit.  Click here to read the whole speech
